Rise~ Trafalgar Law x Reader pt9

             "The sun is setting ___," Sabo tells you nod and walk out the cage before turning to Law.

             "Alright, I'll be back as soon as we get rid of the Alpha, so please wait," You tell Law, closing the cage door. You put the key on the hook as Law clutches the bars. You turn away to follow after Sabo, but he swiftly grabs your arm. You look over and he cups your cheek, pulling your face in to give you a meaningful kiss.

             "Be careful," He murmurs when you pull back. You smile a bit, kissing him briefly.

             "I'll see you soon," You breath before going out. Sabo hands you your sword and gun.

             "You sure you'll be okay? Your wounds aren't all healed yet," He reminds you.

             "I want to try to cure Law as soon as possible, my condition doesn't matter," You reply bluntly. Sabo, pokes you in the temple.

             "It does to me, so if I think you're overdoing it, I will knock you out," He replies.

             "Alright, no need to threaten," You grumble, rubbing your neck since you knew he'd do it.

             "Come on then," He says, nudging you. You give a nod and you both head out.

              The forest was covered with fresh snow, the only sound came from your and Sabo's boots crunching in the snow.

              "So.... Does he know?" Sabo asks, breaking the silence.

              "Yeah he knows he's been bitten, remember," You huff, tossing him a look. He returns your slight frown.

              "That's not what I meant Sherlock," He tells you.

              "Then, what do you mean?" You ask carefully.

              "Does he know that you, er.... Love him?" He asks, looking ahead.  You look away, blushing slightly.

              "I don't know..." You mumble. Sabo lets out of huff, putting a hand on your head.

              "You should tell him soon, you know how this line of work is." Sabo points out.

              "Yeah, I know...." You sigh, rubbing your neck just as something moves in the corner of your eye. "Sabo!" You gasp, swiftly reaching over and pushing him back as the werewolf collides into you. You swiftly bring up your legs and kick it over your head. You swiftly get to your feet, as Sabo draws his sword. The alpha lunges for you while simultaneously dodging Sabo's blade. It spins about claws slashing up Sabo's torso.

              "Gah!" Sabo grunts, as he falls back.

             "Sabo!" You gasp, firing at werewolf. It dodges the bullet, striking you in the side and sending you and your gun tumbling. Before you can recover it lunges at you, pinning you to the ground. You push it's chest away as it viciously snaps at you.

               "You look like you're having a hard time," A familiar voice rumbles, making you look over. The blood leaves your face as your eyes meet the familiar reddish brown eyes.

               "...Kid," You breath. He stared down at you coldly.

               "What are you waiting for? Kill it," He says. You blink as the werewolf's fangs graze your cheek. You tried to push it off but to no avail. "You've grown weak ___, you can't stop me," He tells you, turning away.

                 "Kid wait!... Kid!" You call after him as he disappears from your sight. "Dammit! Get off!" You growl trying to push off the werewolf. You grit your teeth, looking around for something that might help. The werewolf's fangs were getting closer with each snap.

                  "Get off of her!" Sabo snaps, crashing into it. The werewolf goes tumbling and you swiftly grab your gun.

                   "Kid's here!" You gasp.

                   "You saw him too!?" Sabo breathes, sword ready. The werewolf lunges before you can reply. You swiftly fire your gun, making it graze his shoulder. Sabo darts past slashing with his sword but you could see he was bleeding heavily. The werewolf dodges his sword and bats him into a tree. You fire again, shooting it in the arm as it lunges again. You flip out of the way, but it's claw slashes your arm open.

                    "Shit!" You growl and the werewolf barrels into, making you cry out. 'I'm gonna die,' the thought comes to your mind as you stare up at the werewolf's yellow eyes. It bares it's fangs with a snarl. A monstrous howl sounds and a black shape tackles the werewolf. You roll to your side, eyes wide in shock as the jet black werewolf roughly throws the other werewolf across the clearing.

                "Law?" You murmur in awe,  sitting up. The Alpha gets up, snarling as it watched his opponent warily. You grab your sword, swiftly diving forward as the alpha focused on Law. You swing the blade roughly, taking of the Alpha's head. You stagger as the werewolf drops. A growl behind you sounds before you can relax. You look back as Law lunges, crashing into you. He bares his fangs at you. "L-Law! It's me!" You gasp, looking up into his eyes. It's ears twitch slightly, lips relaxing over it's fangs. You carefully reach up, touching his cheek. "I... I love you," You whisper, leaning up and kissing his lips. The werewolf stiffens, and you close your eyes waiting him to bite you.

                However something different happened. The fur on his cheek disappeared, his cheek becoming smooth. His lips becoming human again. You open your eyes open in surprise, finding Law was back to normal. He blinks at you in a slight daze. "___," He whispers before falling into you unconscious.

                 "Holy shit...." Sabo breathes, getting to his feet. You look over, meeting his surprised gaze.

                 "Could you get him a coat please.... And possibly... Off," You plead awkwardly.

                 "Right... Sorry!"

                 You smile, brushing your hand over is Law's cheek. "You broke the curse," Sabo comments from the doorway. You look over and smile.

                 "You think so?" You ask. He nods, but his smile falls a bit.

                 "I hate to have to remind you, but-"

                 "Yeah.... We have a much bigger problem on our hands," You murmur.
